Steven J. Rinaldi, DMD

Dr. Rinaldi is the heart of Andover Smiles, a family dental practice with an emphasis on cosmetic dentistry. He was born in Cumberland, Rhode Island, and received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Rhode Island. Dr. Rinaldi graduated from the Tufts School of Dental Medicine in 1987, and began to practice with his father, also a dentist, in Cumberland for 13 years. Dr. Rinaldi moved with his family to Andover to practice dentistry at a local office. In 2004, he opened Andover Smiles, a dream he’s had for many years because of his fondness for Andover's community, excellent school system and proximity to family.

Lecturer

Dr. Rinaldi has lectured internationally on the topics of practice management, customer service, high-tech utilization and cosmetic dentistry. From 1997 to 1999, he was the director of the Practice Management curriculum at Tufts School of Dental Medicine, and provided practice management and clinical consulting in several private practices.

Continuing Education

Dr. Rinaldi is an advocate of continuing education. The state of Massachusetts requires dentists take 20 hours of continuing education each year, but Dr. Rinaldi completes at least 75 hours annually. He has traveled all over the country attending courses concerning occlusion, periodontics, prosthetics and cosmetic dentistry from the industry's top clinicians.

After Hours

Dr. Rinaldi is married to Erica and together they have three children; a daughter, Ana, and twins, Christopher and Marina. Outside of the dental office, Dr. Rinaldi likes to spend time with his family and enjoys playing tennis, golf, basketball and being active in the community.

As our Patient Coordinator, Danielle is committed to making your visit with us a pleasurable experience. Danielle has worked in the health and beauty industry for over ten years and is dedicated to helping others look and feel their best. As a former business owner, Danielle knows the importance of exceptional customer service. She brings the same level of quality care to our patients at Andover Smiles.
